Cavan 2-11 Fermanagh 0-12
Cavan booked their place in the Ulster intermediate final earlier tonight with a 5 point win over Fermanagh. This was a yoyo game with the sides level 8 times. Fermanagh led at he break by a single point 0-7 to 1-3, the Cavan goal coming from Keri Mc Cormack.
The second half continued to be tight and was only when Ella Sheridan netted in injury time that the Breffni side could breathe a massive sigh of relief.
Fermanagh had to do without the services of Blaithin Bogue and Joanne Doonan. Despite this they played brilliantly with Eimear Smyth contributing 11 of her sides tally.
Cavan were pushed all the way and had their own scoring machine to thank for victory. The in form Ella Sheridan notched 1-7.
The second semi final between Monaghan and Down will take place on Sunday at 1pm in Smithboro.
