MONAGHAN V CAVAN OPENS TG4 CHAMPIONSHIP

The TG4 Championship gets underway this weekend with four Ulster sides in action.

First up is the meeting of Monaghan and Cavan in Clones at 1-30pm on Sunday. This is a repeat of the Ulster semi final which the Breffni ladies won. It is also a curtain raiser to the Monaghan v Clare game.

Staying with the intermediate championship and Down will travel to Ballynacargy to play Westmeath. Throw in for that one is 2pm.

In the junior championship both Derry and Antrim are in action. The Oak Leaf girls take on Sligo in Owenbeg while the saffrons are on the road, playing Longford at Pearse Park. Both games throw in at 2pm.
