LIDL TITLES FOR CAVAN AND ANTRIM – Ulster Ladies Gaelic

It was good weekend for Cavan and Antrim as they claimed the LIDL National League Division 3 and 4 titles respectively however there was no joy for Armagh and Fermanagh who both lost out.

Armagh lost to Kerry on Saturday 4-14 to 0-11. The comprehensive win gave Kerry their 13th LIDL National League title.

Cavan were in action today (Sunday) and goals from Lauren Mc Veety and Ellie Brady helped them to a 2-10 to a 0-9 victory over Wexford in the Division 3 decider.

Antrim and Fermanagh met in Clones in the Division 4 final. This game was tight throughout however a goal from substitute Aoibheann Monaghan proved to be the winning score as the Saffrons won 2-7 to 0-11.

All sides will now turn their attentions to the Ulster championship.
