ULSTER SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINAL
Armagh 2-18 Monaghan 0-10
An understrength Monaghan side were no match for a slick Armagh team who go marching on to the Ulster semi final to play Tyrone. The orchard girls were sharp from the start and raced into a six point lead. The Farney girls didn't hit their opening  until after the first half water break. Armagh continued to dominate the second quarter and a Alex Clarke goal helped them to a 1-8 to 0-5 interval lead.
In the second half it was much of the same. Blaithin Mackin found the net for Armagh's second major while Monaghan took the opportunity to empty their bench. Aimee Mackin was in devastating form hitting seven points. In the semi final Armagh will meet Tyrone on July 2nd to decide who plays the winner of tomorrow encounter between Cavan and Donegal.
