Antrim 2-18 Derry 1-5

Ulster junior champions Derry are out of this year's competition after suffering a 2-18 to 1-5 defeat to Antrim. The Saffrons will now meet Fermanagh in the 2019 decider in Clones on Sunday week.

Emma Doherty opened the scoring with a Derry point however this was quickly cancelled when Maeve Mc Curdy fired over in the 4th minute. Derry went back in front in the 7th minute thanks to a well taken goal however this was to be the last time they would lead. Antrim dominated the half from here on scoring 2-3 while all Derry could manage was an injury time point. Both Saffrons goals came from the lively Lura Dahunsi and Antrim led at the break 2-4 to 1-2.

Doherty also opened the second half scoring but during the next 15 minutes Antrim fired over eight unanswered points. Ciara Moore pointed for Derry entering the last quarter but Antrim responded with a duo of points. Derry then won a penalty which Moore put over the bar but once again Antrim responded strongly and hit the final four points, three of them from the excellent Cathy Carey.

In the Ulster final Antrim will meet Fermanagh.
