All Ireland Club Semi Finals

There were mixed fortunes for Ulster's 3 champions in the weekend All Ireland semi finals with Emmet Og advancing to the intermediate decider and Donaghmoyne and Trillick crashing out.

There was real heartbreak for Donaghmoyne. The former All Ireland winners had led for most of the game and a late Foxrock Cabinteely point looked like extra time was on the cards however deep in injury time Roisin Mc Govern netted for the Leinster side to give them a 2-8 to 1-8 victory.

In the intermediate semi 2 goals a piece from Ellie Mc carron and Chloe Mc Bride helped Emmet Og overcome Dunedin Connlloys 4-10 to 1-9. In the final the Monaghan side will play Dublin's Clontarf.

Trillick bowed out of the junior competition but not without a fight. Ten minutes into the second half and the Red Hand side trailed Glanmire by 14 points however goals from Caithleen Kelly and Emma Brennan helped close the final gap to just 5 points. Despite the brave comeback Glanmire went on to win 2-13 to 2-8.
