Dub to Host Minor Final

  • Dec 08,2016

The Dub in Belfast will host the Ulster minor club final on Sunday next (1pm) when Bredagh (Down) meet Moneyglass (Antrim).

Bredagh have been in fine form so far in the competition. In the quarter final they bagged eleven goals by a fine Moville side as they won 11-17 to 4-1. It was a slightly different story in the semi final when they needed extra time to overcome the challenge of Clann Eireann 4-11 to 4-10.

Moneyglass had a tough quarter final when they had just three points to spare against Cavan champions Lurgan 3-15 to 3-12. In their semi final it was a little easier for them as they defeated Ballymaguigan 6-11 to 1-5. This one is hard to call however that extra time which Bredagh played against Clann Eireann could be the difference . Throw in at the Dub for the last competitive Ulster game of the season is 1pm.
